Access Review

The access review policy asks owners to review members and guest users of their resources after a given number of days.

Specify how many reminders should be sent and what should happen if owners do not take any action in the specified time frame.

If owners do not take any action, guest accounts can be removed, or the resource can be deleted or archived.

What the Archive escalation does depends on the archive connector configured under Settings → Teams & Groups → Archive settings. With Teams default it archives the Team, so it has no effect on a group without one. With Microsoft 365 Archive it moves the group's SharePoint site into cold storage, which also covers groups without a Team. See Archival.
