Expiration

The expiration policy checks the Last Activity Date

Specify how many reminders should be sent and what should happen if owners do not take any action in the specified time frame.

If owners do not take any action, a resource can be deleted.

An Archive escalation is also offered when Settings → SharePoint sites → Archive settings uses the Microsoft 365 Archive connector. It moves the site into cold storage instead of deleting it. See Archival.
