Overview

An API, short for Application Programming Interface, is a collection of definitions and protocols designed for constructing and incorporating application software seamlessly. By leveraging the API, you can generate content while adhering to the predefined rules and configurations outlined in the Templates and Policies.

The exposure of REST APIs within EasyLife 365 Collaboration opens the door for users to craft integrations tailored to their applications and workflows. The officially supported endpoints provide functional capabilities, enabling users to:

User operations

Admin operations

note

The admin operations accept application permissions as well as delegated ones, so they can be driven by an unattended integration such as a scheduled script or a function app. The user operations are delegated-only — they always act on behalf of a signed-in user. See Create Application Registration for both setups.
