  • Globally Available

This release introduces updates to both the licensing model and governance capabilities in EasyLife 365 Identity. The licensing model has been updated to better align with how the platform is used in production environments, while new policy capabilities give administrators more control over the configuration of Enterprise Applications.

Together, these changes help organizations manage their applications more consistently and apply governance standards across their tenant.

What’s new?

  1. Updated licensing model

The previous Freemium, Professional, and Enterprise plans have been replaced with a new licensing model which includes only two new plans: Basic and Professional.

The Basic plan now includes most of the features that were previously available in the Professional tier, making the majority of EasyLife 365 Identity capabilities available as part of the standard offering.

The Professional plan includes advanced governance capabilities such as features related to automatically managed applications, insights into unused and inactive enterprise applications, advanced policies, and advanced reporting (upcoming feature).

  1. Baseline Configuration policy

Admins can now configure a new type of policy for Enterprise Applications called Baseline Configuration Policy.

The Baseline Configuration policy allows administrators to define a standard configuration for key application access settings, helping ensure consistency across the tenant. Through this policy, admins can specify the expected value for the following Azure configuration options:

  • Enabled for users to sign-in
  • Assignment required

Admins can choose to enforce one or both settings as part of the policy. If an application deviates from the defined configuration, its owners can review the policy and remediate the configuration directly through the EasyLife 365 Identity user portal.

This capability helps organizations maintain a consistent governance baseline for their Enterprise Applications and reduces the risk of configuration drift over time.
